President of Romania, Klaus Iohannis gets publicly the vaccine against the COVID-19 virus

The President of Romania, Klaus Iohannis, was publicly vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus at the Military Hospital in Bucharest. The leader from Romania marked the beginning of the second stage of the immunization campaign against the Romanian pandemic. The number of infections continues to grow worldwide. Germany has already exceeded the threshold of two million infected people and recorded over 22 thousand new cases in the last 24 hours, reports Moldova 1 TV. '

The President of Romania was given the first dose of the vaccine created by Pfizer and Biontech and will receive the second in 21 days. The category of those at high risk includes adults over 65 years of age, as well as people with chronic diseases, regardless of age, depending on the indications of the vaccines used.

"It is a simple procedure, it does not hurt and I want to emphasize that this vaccine is safe, effective and I recommend vaccination to all", said Klaus Iohannis.

Turkish President Recep Erdogan has also been vaccinated against Coronavirus. The Turkish leader received the first dose of the Chinese vaccine produced by the Sinovac company. The preparation is to be administered to workers in the healthcare system, then to people in risk groups.

"Another 25-30 million doses of vaccines will arrive in the next period", said Recep Erdogan.

At the same time, two million people in Israel have already been vaccinated against the SARS-CoV-2 virus. The Jerusalem government hopes to emerge from the health crisis by March, when parliamentary elections take place.

Authorities in France have said they want to test Coronavirus a million pupils and teachers every month to detect juvenile infections more quickly, especially as the new British strain spreads rapidly across the country. At the same time, new restrictions were announced. Thus, any public place will be closed starting with 18:00. Tighter restrictions are also introduced at the country's borders to limit the spread of Coronavirus.
