2,000 cases of COVID-19 infection reported in Romania in the last 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, there have been 2,158 new cases of COVID-19, the highest number of Coronavirus infections since the beginning of the pandemic. In intensive care, 550 patients with COVID-19 are hospitalized in serious health condition.

To date, on September 30, 127,572 cases of people infected with the new Coronavirus (COVID-19) were confirmed in Romania.

102,476 patients were declared cured.

Following the tests performed at national level, compared to the last report, 2,158 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV-2 (COVID– 9) were registered, these are cases that had not previously had a positive test.

To date, 4,825 people diagnosed with COVID-19 infection died.
