A passenger plane collapsed in Ethiopia
The plane of an airline in Ethiopia, carrying 149 passengers and eight crew members, collapsed on Sunday during the flight to Kenya, writes newsletrotv.ro.
As stated by an airline representative, the Boeing 737 aircraft collapsed shortly after taking off from Addis Ababa airport around 08:44 local time.
Thus, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmen expressed his condolences in a post on Twitter.
In a press release, airline officials said a search and rescue operation is in progress near the town of Bishoftu. At the moment, there is no information about the number of victims.
