Learn how to treat ophthalmological problems correctly in the show „Reporter pentru Sănătate”

On Saturday, August 24, we invite you in front of the small screens to watch a new edition of the show „Reporter pentru Sănătate” on Moldova 1.

This time the journalist Victoria Dorgan brings you useful information about the modern treatment of two ophthalmological conditions: cataract, which is the main cause of blindness in the world and glaucoma. It also has the same result if it is not treated in the early stage, and once affected, the vision cannot be recovered.

Viewers will find out why after a cataract surgery the sight can be practically restored to 100% and the glaucoma operation only stops the blindness for the moment. We will also tell you what the term of validity of an artificial lens is and what it means for optical coherence tomography.
