EU Ambassador to Chisinau: Even in these difficult times, disinformation is invented and spread
The European Union (EU) Ambassador to Chisinau, Peter Michalko, says that even in these difficult moments, misinformation is spread, Radio Moldova reports.
" I saw with disappointment that even in these difficult times, disinformation is invented and spread. This is the case with the fake news about alleged letter from former Prime Minister Maia Sandu to a member of the European Commission that would put the European Union in a negative light in the eyes of the Moldovan people. This is a disgusting, totally made up and unfounded allegation and its authors and those who are spreading it are trying to discredit the EU and bring additional uncertainty in the society. The European Union will continue to provide its support to the people of the Republic of Moldova. Our relations with the Republic of Moldova remain based on the Association Agreement and the DCFTA, and the principle of strict conditionality continues to be part of our cooperation”, wrote Peter Michalko on Facebook.
