The Constitution of the Republic of Moldova could be amended

A commission of constitutional experts will be set up to reform the Constitution. A decree in this regard was signed by the President of the Republic of Moldova, Igor Dodon, reports Moldova 1.

The head of state informs that the decision to create such a structure was taken at a meeting with former presidents of the Constitutional Court Victor Puşcaş and Dumitru Pulbere.

According to Igor Dodon, the need to reform the Supreme Law results from institutional bottlenecks and political involvement in the field of constitutional justice. Igor Dodon also says that it is necessary to introduce in the Constitution provisions related to the balanced foreign policy of the state.
