Co-rapporteurs of Parliamentary Assembly of Council of Europe to visit Moldova

Co-rapporteurs of Parliamentary Assembly of Council of Europe will pay a visit to Moldova. This was announced by William Massolin, Head of the Council of Europe’s Office in Chisinau in a meeting with the Parliament Speaker Zinaida Greceanîi, reads a press release of the Legislative.

The promotion of a balanced foreign policy represents a priority in the work of the current parliamentary majority, Parliament Speaker Zinaida Grecianii said in the discussion with William Massolin.

According to the speaker, the ruling coalition decided that all agreements signed with the foreign partners would be carried out in continuation. Also, Grecianii noted that an assessment of the legislative acts would be made for their good enforcement. “Our intention is to implement all good laws which are in the interest of Moldova’s citizens,” said the parliament speaker.

For his part, the head of the Council of Europe’s Office in Chisinau noted that Moldova’s authorities can rely on the support of the Council of Europe and its institutions.

The official also said that co-rapporteurs of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) would visit Moldova this month.
