Individual animal breeders could benefit from state subsidies
People in animal husbandry villages could benefit from state subsidies and be exempt from paying taxes. A bill to this effect was presented today by the vice-president of the parliamentary faction of the "Shor'' Party, Violeta Ivanov, during a briefing in Parliament, households are still deciding to raise more animals, reports Moldova 1.
Violeta Ivanov says that if adopted, the bill will help reduce poverty in rural areas and provide citizens with quality and environmentally friendly products.
"If now only large entrepreneurs, ie individuals or legal entities, can benefit from state subsidies in the livestock sector, we propose that those who raise animals near the house can benefit from state subsidies. That is, we plead for the regulation of a special status for individual animal breeders to enjoy state subsidies," the deputy declared.
