Deputies voted: Marina Tauber and Reghina Apostolova - without parliamentary immunity

The deputies of the Political Shor's Party, Marina Tauber and Reghina Apostolova, remain without parliamentary immunity. The deputies voted at the sitting of today the withdrawal of the parliamentary immunity, following the request of the interim general prosecutor, Dumitru Robu, to lift the parliamentary immunity, to detain, search and prosecute the deputies Marina Tauber and Reghina Apostolova.

Dumitru Robu stated from the Parliament's rostrum that the reason for calling for the lifting of parliamentary immunity of the members of the Shor Party is their possible involvement in the devaluation of the banking system. The Attorney General says the people in the law have evidence in this regard.

The faction of the Shor Party, in protest, announced that it refuses to attend today's sitting of the Legislature. The faction condemns the requests of the interim general prosecutor to withdraw the parliamentary immunity of the deputies, blaming the head of state, Igor Dodon, that he would be behind this action by the Prosecutor's Office, Radio Moldova Newsreel reports.
