MP Mihai Popşoi resigns as chairman of the commission of inquiry into the "unconstitutional putsch"

The MP of the faction of the Action and Solidarity Party, Mihai Popşoi, resigned as chairman of the Commission of Inquiry into the "unconstitutional putsch". The MP announced about it on his Facebook page, Radio Moldova reports.

In the message, Popşoi says: "I made this decision in connection to the fact that the main actors of the attempt of the anti constitutional putsch refused to attend the hearings, which prevents the truth from being revealed about the events of this June", wrote Mihai Popşoi.

The deputy also stated that, in the near future, immediately after the report is presented by the future chairman of the commission, he will come to a press conference with an alternative report of the Commission of Inquiry.

We remind that the former magistrates of the Constitutional Court ignored the invitation to hearings within the Commission.
