Former presidents of Moldova urge the political class to find solutions to end the political crisis
The former presidents of Moldova, Mircea Snegur and Petru Lucinschi, urge the political class in Chisinau to find solutions to end the political crisis. The two presidents today issued a joint statement stating that "conflict" parties should sit down and find solutions to the situation, Moldova 1 TV reports.
The statement says that the new majority in parliament has been recognized by international bodies, and without the consistent help of the great powers and the international community, our possibilities are limited, that is why we should praise their support.
" Destroy the Bolshevik style barricades. Do not embarrass yourself, do not embarrass us and do not embarrass the country", shows the call signed by the two presidents.
