Fraction of PAS in the CMC calls for a revision of budget of Chisinau
The municipal councilors of the PAS fraction request the urgent summoning of the Chisinau Municipal Council and the revision of the budget of Chisinau. They believe that the non-priority procurement should be postponed and the municipal medical system should be allocated 100 million lei, in the conditions of the worrying evolution of the epidemic and the increase of the number of infected medical staff, reports Mesager.
"Chisinau's budget contains many very important expenses under normal conditions, but they are not prior in the conditions of a current crisis, for example the fountain in La Izvor Park, the pool in a lyceum, playgrounds, football fields. The value of those listed now amounts to over 60 million lei, but the real value of the less priority expenditures is much higher. Public money must be directed towards investments with major impact”, said Roma Cojuhari, PAS advisor.
PAS requests that all the tenders that are not required at this time and the complete review of the Chisinau municipality's investment policy for 2020-2021 be stopped.
