Government to appoint the two judges to the CC

The government might appoint, at today's sitting, the two judges to the Constitutional Court. 4 candidates were selected following the contest organized by a commission headed by Prime Minister Maia Sandu.

At the end of the competition, the prime minister announced that the names of the two magistrates will be announced this week, at the Executive meeting. The four candidates are: Liuba Şova, Eduard Serbenco, Vladimir Grosu and Nicolae Roşca.

The Constitutional Court is composed of six judges, two judges are appointed by the Parliament, 2- by the Government and 2- by the Superior Council of Magistrates.
