Igor Dodon passes 4 laws for which Government takes responsibility

President Igor Dodon passed today four of the nine laws approved on March 7 by the Government by taking responsibility to Parliament. In a post on his Facebook page, Igor Dodon claims that he passed the "social impact laws" as a matter of urgency.

It is about the law that establishes the granting of a one-off allowance in the amount of 600 lei for the beneficiaries of pensions and state social allowances whose monthly sum does not exceed 2000 lei, the law on amending the State Budget Law for 2019 and the Law on the Budget of state social insurance for 2019, which provide for the payment mechanism of the one-off allowance.

Also, the law that stipulates the modification of the indexation mechanism of pensions in the public pension system and the law on amending the Labor Code, meant to eliminate some gaps related to the salaries of some categories of employees, were passed.

Also, Igor Dodon passed the law amending the Law on Artists and Creative Units, which provides for boosting social protection measures of persons with special merits, decorated with the "Order of the Republic" and beneficiaries of the allowance for merit.

Igor Dodon said that economic laws are still under examination.
