Room for Dialogue: Crisis can be overcome peacefully, opinions

The Party of Action and Solidarity believes that the crisis situation can be overcome by peaceful means. For this, the Democratic Party of Moldova (PDM) must comply with the laws passed by the parliamentary majority, the PSRM and the Bloc ACUM, whereby it formed the new Government and allowed access to the state institutions of the new elected ministers. The announcement was made by the representative of the Party of Action and Solidarity, Dan Perciun, during the show Room for Dialogue on Radio Moldova.

"The Government is ready for dialogue, but some preconditions must be met. First of all those people who were brought before state institutions to block them from leaving. After that, it is normal for the former Cabinet of Ministers to recognize the decisions of the international partners, to recognize that a new power has emerged, to peacefully transfer the power, after which this dialogue can take place," said MP Perciun.

In turn, the representative of the PDM, Sergiu Sârbu, specified that the PSRM and the Bloc ACUM have been invited to dialogue, but they did not accept the invitation. Thus, the crisis situation continues. Parliament is not working and very important laws, such as the 2019 budget rectification and budget approval for 2020, can not be adopted.

"Unfortunately, the talks were rejected. At these discussions, we wanted to tell our dear colleagues to find a solution. Parliament is dissolved, early elections were announced, we will come to the sixth of September and the voters will judge us," Sergiu Sârbu said.

In his turn, PSRM deputy Grigore Novac said that the Legislature has a very busy agenda, meetings are held regularly until the end of July, when, according to the normative acts, the spring-summer session ends, until then more laws will be adopted.

"The Permanent Bureau can be summoned, it is the one who decides. We invite the Democrats to come, to attend the debates. We have a very busy agenda because we have to repair the huge blunders of PDM in recent years," Grigore Novac said.
