MAI has repeatedly sent to Interpol a request for international search for the former PDM leader
Vlad Plahotniuc's file is being examined by Interpol. After last week, Plahotniuc and all his family members were added to the list of undesirable persons in the US territory, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has repeatedly sent to Interpol a request for an international search for the former Democrat leader. The announcement was made by the head of state Igor Dodon at the meeting of the Supreme Security Council, reports Moldova 1.
"After this information came from the United States, we repeatedly requested that the Ministry of Interior address Interpol. I know they in discussions now. What concerns the second chain, there are the bilateral relations, where we asked for details. We are in permanent contact with US partners. The purpose is to find and bring him home,” declared the head of state, Igor Dodon.
Also, during the meeting of the Supreme Security Council, the criminogenic situation in the country was discussed. According to the president, the Ministry of Internal Affairs is preparing an action plan that would reduce the crime rate in our country.
