Moldova can always rely on Hungary's support, a statement

The Republic of Moldova can always rely on Hungary's support. The insurance comes from Hungarian Foreign and Trade Minister Péter Szijjártó, who is on a visit to Chisinau. The official met today with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova, Tudor Ulianovschi. The two officials discussed the prospects for bilateral cooperation between the two countries, capitalizing on the economic potential and regional cooperation, Moldova 1 reports.

The Hungarian Foreign Minister noted that the bilateral partnership between the two states is in the process of enlargement and pointed out that the Republic of Moldova can always rely on Hungary's support.

"In order to take full advantage of the partnership agreement, we have recently started a closer cooperation on education and we are glad that last year in September 30 Moldovan students started their studies in Hungary. Moldova can count on Hungary in this process of European integration in the future," said Péter Szijjártó.

"In the Republic of Moldova, there are more than 50 companies with Hungarian capital. Hungary is an important place after the volume of investments in the Republic of Moldova," said Tudor Ulianovschi.

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary will hold several bilateral meetings with the President of the Legislature, Andrian Candu and the head of the Executive, Pavel Filip.

Also today, the minister had a meeting with President Igor Dodon. According to the president, they exchanged views on the development of bilateral dialogue in areas of common interest, but also on the internal and external political situation.

TRM.MD recalls that the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Commerce of Hungary came today, February 12, in Chisinau.
