Political Movement Unirea protests in front of the Presidency

The Political Movement Unires organized today a protest action titled “Minute of Silence” in front of the Presidency. According to the organizers, the action is a manifesto "in protest against the uncontrolled growth of juvenile crime in Moldova", reports Radio Moldova.

Therefore, the Movement proposed several remedial measures, including the presentation of a full report of the authorities on March 1 on the evolution of the situation in all the police subdivisions.

President Igor Dodon said after the meeting of the Supreme Security Council that the reasons that cause such crimes must be analyzed, and the problem will be on the agenda of the next Governments.

We remind that a 12-year-old boy was found dead in the basement of an abandoned house in Orhei on January 19. Subsequently, they found that the victim had signs of violent death on the body, and the police detained a 14-year-old suspect. He would have killed his friend because of a game console he had borrowed from him and would not have wanted to return it.
