OSCE mission in Chisinau, notified of the two ambulance drivers arrested in Transnistria

The Bureau of Reintegration Policies has notified the law enforcement authorities regarding the detention of two ambulance drivers living in Molovata Nouă, a locality located in the Security Zone. They were detained on the pretext that they violated the traffic rules during the COVID-19 pandemic and have been sentenced to 15 days in detention, MOLDPRES reports with reference to the Reintegration Policy Bureau, quoted by Radio Moldova.

Immediately after receiving the information from the field about the incident, the Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration, Cristina Lesnic, notified the OSCE Mission to Chisinau, which seconded a team to document the situation on the spot.

Similarly, the chief negotiator informed all participants in the negotiation process in the "5 + 2" format. The Bureau of Reintegration Policies insists on all the means of dialogue on the unconditional release of the two persons and the elimination of the infrastructure of the control posts, illegally installed by the Transnistrian side.
