Monica Babuc, elected Democrats’ Deputy Speaker of Parliament
MP Monica Babuc will be Democrats’ Deputy Speaker of Parliament. This was announced in a briefing by Pavel Filip.
The former prime minister said that the decision was made at the meeting of the faction, and Monica Babuc will be shortly appointed deputy chairperson of the opposition party.
Monica Babuc has been working as Culture Minister since 2013, and later in 2017 when the government reform was developped, she was appointed Minister of Education, Culture and Research.
