New changes in the composition of parliamentary committees

Parliament adopted a decision amending the composition of several standing parliamentary committees.

Igor Vremea was appointed chairman of the Commission on Foreign Policy and European Integration, and Violeta Ivanov - dismissed from this position, is shown in a statement issued by the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova.

Ghenadie Buza is appointed chairman of the Social Protection, Health and Family Commission, following the dismissal of MP Elena Bacalu.

Nicolae Ciubuc was appointed chairman of the Environment and Regional Development Commission, being removed from the position of vice-chairman of the Agriculture and Food Industry Commission.

Vasile Bîtca is removed from his position as chairman of the Public Administration Commission. This position belonged to the deputy Reghina Apostolova.

The decision also provides for changes to the list of vice-chairs, secretaries or members of committees.

At the same time, changes were made in the nominal composition of some delegations to international and bilateral parliamentary organizations.

Deputy Violeta Ivanov was removed from the position of head of the delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of Economic Cooperation on the Black Sea. The deputies appointed Nicolae Ciubuc in this position.

Violeta Ivanov was also removed from the position of Deputy Head of Delegation to the Interparliamentary Assembly of the Parliament of Georgia, the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova and the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, and Igor Vremea was appointed to this position.

The composition of the delegation of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova of the 10th legislature to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) also underwent changes. Ruxanda Glavan was excluded from the list of members. Monica Babuc, Vice-President of the Parliament, became a member of the PACE delegation.
