The Parliament of the Republic of Moldova is meeting today
The elected representatives of the people are convened today, November 26, starting at 10:00, in plenary session. The agenda of the meeting includes 47 draft laws and decisions.
The parliamentarians will examine several draft laws for the ratification of several agreements, including for the ratification of an amendment to the financing contract between the Republic of Moldova and the European Investment Bank for the realization of the road rehabilitation project in the Republic of Moldova.
At the same time, during today's sitting, the deputies will examine the draft decision on the establishment of a commission of inquiry to elucidate all the circumstances that led to the "laundering" of dirty money in particularly large proportions through courts and financial-banking institutions in the Republic of Moldova.
The agenda also includes several social projects, including the draft law on the granting of a single allowance to the descendants of deceased staff in public health institutions, as a result of the activity of combating COVID-19.
At the same time, according to the agenda of the meeting, today will take place the hearing of the Minister of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment, Ion Perju, regarding the critical situation in agriculture caused by the drought and the action plan to overcome this situation.
