Parties that enjoy increased trust from citizens, poll

Four parties would enter the Parliament if early parliamentary elections were held next Sunday. These are PSRM, PAS, PPDA and PDM, show the data of a poll presented by IDATA. The poll reveals that the Moldovans have the highest confidence in the current head of state, Igor Dodon, reports Mesager.

Thus, if early parliamentary elections were held next Sunday, almost 36% of Moldovans would vote for the Socialist Party. PAS would get over 15% of votes. PPDA and PDM would get 6.6% and 6.2% respectively. The other parties would not get 6% of votes.  

As far as the confidence in the politicians is concerned, the highest rating has the current president of the Republic of Moldova Igor Dodon with 46% votes. He is followed by the Prime Minister Ion Chicu, with just over 25%, and PAS leader Maia Sandu  with 21% of votes. The mayor of Chisinau Ione Ceban and the President of Parliament Zinaida Grecianii, are next in the top with 17, 7% and 12.4% respectively.

The IData poll was conducted between March 30 and April 4  in 381 localities in Moldova. People were questioned on the phone. The margin of error is +- 3 %.
