PAS comes with a number of proposals in the pandemic situation
The president of the Party for Action and Solidarity (PAS) Maia Sandu sent to Prime Minister Ion Chicu an open letter through which PAS offers support in the pandemic situation in Moldova, reports Mesager.
The open letter contains 19 measures, among which: the provision of food packages twice a month to over 100 thousand elderly people alone and left without family support; procuring protective equipment for medical and non-medical staff involved in treating the infection; procurement of masks, gloves and disinfectants for mayors, family doctors, assistants and social workers, police officers, employees of the mayor’s offices.
Another proposal concerns the increase of consular staff and hiring volunteers for the continuous operation of hot lines at the embassies and consulates of the Republic of Moldova; covering the costs of technical unemployment, in a proportion of 75% of the salary over a period of 3 months.
