PAS calls for the Minister of Health, Labor and Social Protection to be heard in Parliament's plenary

The Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) requests the hearing of the Minister of Health, Labor and Social Protection, Viorica Dumbrăveanu, at tomorrow's plenary sitting of the Parliament. During a press conference, MP Dan Perciun argued why this is necessary, specifying some topics that will be addressed at the minister's hearing.

"We consider it very important to have the opportunity to discuss publicly the measures that are being taken by the Government to prevent the import of this virus, and in the worst case to see what the impact is and not to allow an outbreak of an epidemic," said Deputy Dan Perciun.

Also today, the Minister of Health, Labor and Social Protection, Viorica Dumbrăveanu, presented at the sitting of the Democratic Party faction a report on the epidemiological situation. Deputy Ruxanda Glavan told a press briefing that the PDM faction came with some recommendations to the authorities.

"The Government will continue to apply the instructions of the international health regulation as well as the WHO recommendations and to coordinate the cross-sectoral activities to prevent and early detect all ill patients. It is worth mentioning how important is the cross-sectoral cooperation between central and local public authorities. Local public emergency commissions must meet regularly and apply the recommendations of the National Public Health Commission. We have called for the improvement of public communication and the permanent and adequate information of the population,” said Ruxanda Glavan.

At today's Guven meeting, the Minister of Health, Labor and Social Protection, Viorica Dumbrăveanu, announced that she had launched a comprehensive campaign to inform the society about coronavirus.
