PAS requests the convening of the deputies in session

The Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) is calling for MPs to convene in Parliament on Friday (May 29th) to vote on a package of laws on disbursement of European financial assistance. The announcement was made today, during a press conference, by PAS deputies.

"While the country is haunted by a pandemic, when our good friends from the European Union want to help us, offering us non-reimbursable assistance, some kick in this assistance," said PAS deputy Mihai Popşoi.

According to MP Igor Grosu, the PAS came with a request to the President of the Parliament regarding the convening of the deputies.

"With all the precautionary measures that can be taken, we request that we convene tomorrow in the sitting of the Parliament, resume the agenda and put an end to these conditionalities. We have one more week, enough time, only on condition that we have political will and we are well-intentioned all deputies to vote on these important laws (….) We call on all deputies and other parties to mobilize, respond to our invitation and convene in a meeting on Friday," mentioned Igor Grosu.
