Pavel Filip: Talks are necessary to form a parliamentary majority

The president of the Democratic Party faction, Pavel Filip said in a press conference that we have a functional Parliament starting with today. Pavel Filip hopes that the break offered to factions will be used efficiently to create a parliamentary majority.

"We are sorry to state that this session was a short one, after which this pause was initiated, a break in which, of course, talks must be held to establish a  parliamentary majority," said Pavel Filip.

"I'm not going to tell you anything new, the Democratic Party tried to have discussions with the block ACUM. If there had been discussions with the block ACUM, this meeting would have been more effective. Unfortunately, this has not happened ", said Pavel Filip.

As for the protest organized by the supporters of the block ACUM  before the Parliament, Pavel Filip declared that protest actions are a democratic tool, but in his opinion, the problems are not solved in the street, but based on discussions.
