President Igor Dodon does not rule out a coalition between Socialists and Democrats

In the show "President Responds", Dodon listed three scenarios of the political situation in the country. The head of state gives assurances that no matter what will happen in the political arena, Ion Chicu will be prime minister, at least until the end of this year, reports Moldova 1.

"The first scenario: we will work as so far, that is, the Government without a stable majority in Parliament, it will be a minority Government and it will come up with draft laws that could be voted on including by Candu and the others. The second scenario: an official coalition, should not be excluded. A coalition that could be at the moment between the PSRM and the PDM in case the PDM is reformed and restructured. The third scenario is the early parliamentary elections, in my personal opinion, this would be a problem for the Republic of Moldova,” mentioned Igor Dodon.

The head of state Igor Dodon rejects the information conveyed in the press, as Prime Minister Ion Chicu could be replaced.

"I assure you, no matter what happens, Mr. Chicu will be prime minister at least until the end of this year. But I want him to be prime minister by 2023, because he is working good with this government in general,” Dodon said.

However, Igor Dodon did not rule out that in the spring some ministers who are not doing their job well could be dismissed.
