The PSRM will file a complaint with the General Prosecutor's Office

The Socialist Party of Moldova (PSRM) will file a complaint with the General Prosecutor's Office to request informations on how the file on the financing of the formation was started. The socialist deputy, Vlad Bătrîncea, told today a press conference that the reopening of this file is a continuation of the blackmail, started when Vlad Plahotniuc was in charge of the Democratic Party of Moldova, reports Moldova 1.

Two days ago, the Attorney General, Alexandru Stoianoglo, said that the pursuit of the PSRM funding had only aroused interest in the context of certain social-political events. According to him, in the last three years, the file has been reactivated four times, the last time in November 2019, at the intervention of the head of the Anti Corruption Prosecutor's Office, Viorel Morari, but contrary to the provisions of the Criminal Procedure Code. The General Prosecutor's Office did not get involved in this criminal case, but it carried out its verification after receiving the official address from the PSRM president, Zinaida Greceanii, according to Stoianoglo.

At the same conference, the president of the PSRM, Zinaida Greceanîi, specified the party's priorities for 2020, saying that the PRSM will support the initiatives of the head of state, reports Radio Moldova.

„Strengthening the statehood of the Republic of Moldova - we will combat any attempts to undermine the independence and sovereignty of our country. Guaranteeing the status of neutrality - Moldova must defend its status of military neutrality and not adhere to any military alliance. Developed economy and social equity - we have more projects, more initiatives not only of the PSRM, but also of the Head of State and Government, quality medicine and education, development of the regions. The economy of the country should not only be concentrated in the municipality of Chisinau, but it should also go in the regions. Interethnic peace - we will support a balanced foreign policy. The PSRM will support the national projects recently launched by the head of state. Each person must have access to quality water, good roads, garbage-free, well-lit villages, all villages to be connected to the gas pipeline, social protection, and initiatives to increase salaries and pensions will be examined,” said Zinaida Greceanii.

At the same time, Zinaida Greceanii said that the PSRM would participate with its own candidate in Hincesti and in the presidential elections.
