OSCE General Secretary Thomas Greminger comes to Moldova
OSCE General Secretary Thomas Greminger visits Moldova on September 17-19, for talks with senior officials from Chisinau and political leadership from Tiraspol.
During his visit to Moldova as General Secretary of the OSCE, Greminger will focus on advancing the Transnistrian settlement process according to the principles agreed by all 57 states participating in the OSCE Ministerial Council in Milan in December 2018.
Also, Greminger will discuss the role that the OSCE can play in ensuring the transparency of the process of withdrawal and destruction of Russian ammunition and weapons, and in coordinating the financial and technical assistance provided to facilitate their withdrawal and destruction.
At the same time, the General- Secretary of the OSCE will discuss the potential areas for OSCE involvement in supporting the reform agenda of the Republic of Moldova.
Thomas Greminger will hold a briefing on September 19 at 3:00 pm in the Official Delegations Hall of the Chisinau International Airport.
