New political party, launched in Moldova

The NOI Political Party, which positions itself as a new, center-left, pro-Moldova political party, was launched on Saturday, July 11th. Party members aim to become "an integrating factor", a context in which "they come up with a special project for Moldova and a new way of doing politics". They say they will move from the idea of hatred and division rooted in Moldovan society to respect, regardless of the language spoken or ethnicity. The party's goal is to enter parliament in the next parliamentary elections, IPN reports.

At a public event, Vladimir Dachi, the party leader said  that during more than 30 years spent abroad , the desire to give a better life to his children has never disappeared. I want to put my heart and mind into it, in the service of the country where I was born, to unite, to develop this people”. According to him, the people now demand that its leaders abandon the policy of party interest and find solutions for the common good. At the same time, he insists that a people's Government must support the interests of all families in the country. The party he represents, says Vladimir Dachi, wants to renew Moldova by promoting the use of new technologies to facilitate Moldovans’ participation at power.

"There can be no socialist or democratic ideas, only smart, fair and good policies for Moldova. They will form a decent government for the Moldovan people ", added the leader of the new party.

According to the data published on the website of the Ministry of Justice in the Republic of Moldova, 45 political parties are registered in Moldova.
