Vlad Turcanu, elected first vice-president of PUN

Former chairman of the Romanian People's Party (PPR), Vlad Turcanu was elected first vice-president of the Party of National Unity (PUN). This was announced on Facebook by the former chairman of the faction Anatol Salaru.

Vlad Turcanu has recently left the PPR leadership as he disagreed with the intention of the party colleagues to make a common bloc with several unionist factions.

Also, the leadership of PUN was recently taken over by the deputy elected on the lists of the ACUM bloc, Octavian Ţâcu.
