Over 30 activities will be carried out in the Youth Capital
Costesti village, Ialoveni district will host over 20 youth activities in 2019. The measures are part of the "Costeşti - Youth Capital 2019" Program. The inauguration will take place on Sunday, March 24th, in the Square of the Cultural House in Costesti, Radio Moldova reports with reference to IPN.
The village of Costesti was designated the Youth Capital 2019 at the end of November last year, based on the contest. It is estimated that in 2019 the locality will benefit from a financial support of up to one million lei, depending on the quality and relevance of the planned youth activities.
The “Youth Capital” Program is an initiative taken from the experience of the European Youth Forum and involves the selection of a community where youth activities of local authorities, regional and national NGOs, international organizations are concentrated over the course of a year.
