Eight cases of swine fever registered in Moldova
Eight cases of African swine fever have been reported in early May in Moldova. According to the National Agency for Food Safety, all samples were taken from wild boars, Radio Moldova reports.
On May 5, samples were taken from two wild boar, found in Rascani district, near Braniste village, and on May 7 - from six others, found in the region of the "Pădurea Domnească" Natural Reserve, which is located along the Prut, in the west of Glodeni and Falesti districts.
All lab results were positive.
