Quarantine was lifted today in Stefan Voda town. The town was isolated for a month and a half, after it was found out that several parishioners who went on a pilgrimage to the Poceaev Monastery in Ukraine were infected with COVID-19, Mesager reports.

The district hospital was under quarantine in early April, as 25 percent of healthcare workers were infected with the new virus. The hospital resumed activity on May 5.

In the Ştefan Vodă district, 275 cases of COVID-19 disease are registered, out of which nine people lost their lives. The quarantine regime was lifted yesterday in Talmaza village, Stefan Voda district.

According to the regulations, the quarantine period ends after 14 days, if no case of infection is identified.
