Police monitor compliance with the quarantine regime in Soroca, Stefan-Voda and Carahasani

Over 100 military, carabineers and policemen monitor the compliance of the quarantine regime imposed in Soroca, Stefan-Voda and in Carahasani village, reports Mesager.

The Interior Minister Pavel Voicu today paid a visit to Stefan Voda, where he checked the level of preparation for the management of the situation and made sure that all involved have the necessary equipment available, are protected and properly informed.

Starting last night, the police along with the military installed tents and checked the persons, as well as the transport units entering and leaving the localities. Three fixed stations and four mobile teams were installed in Stefan Voda.

" You will see fewer cars on the streets in Chisinau, that does not mean that there are no soldiers on the streets. Some of the cars left in the affected areas, Stefan Voda and Soroca, where there will be quarantine. We have equipment that can disinfect spaces, objects and if necessary they will be involved", said Defense Minister Alexandru Jizdan.
