Dialysis Center, opened in Cahul

A modern dialysis center was opened in Cahul. The institution is equipped with 16 modern dialysis devices and thus can serve about 100 patients with chronic end-stage renal disease, reports Moldova 1 TV.

Also, patients will benefit from transportation to the Dialysis Center and back home absolutely free.

For citizens of the Republic of Moldova, the access to services is provided free of charge under the compulsory health insurance policy.

The dialysis center in Cahul aims to provide patients with individualized treatment, based on regular diagnosis.

Following the start of the public-private partnership project for dialysis services in Moldova that was initiated in 2016, the number of patients treated increased by 30%, from over 480 in 2015 to about 700 in 2018.
