Alexei Mateevici National Days in Causeni

The actions included in the program of the XXVII-th edition of the National Days Alexei Mateevici, occasioned by the 131st anniversary of the poet's birthday, are starting today in Căuşeni, Radio Moldova News reports.

The current edition of National Mateevici Days is distinct, by widening the holiday area. If previous editions were traditionally hosted by our country between March 16 and 31, this year, thanks to the willingness of the Ukrainian Ministry of Culture and the Theological Academy in Kiev, the Days dedicated to Mateevici took place for the first time in Odessa, with the inauguration of an exhibition themed "Renaissance".

However, the actual launch of the current edition of the National Days of Alexei Mateevici will take place today in Căuşeni, around the bronze poet's face, during an event entitled "The Prophet Whom We Ever Missing Eternally", which will include a homage moment, messages of art people, officials and laying flowers.

At the National Days Alexei Mateevici will be included, on March 16, the Memorial House "Alexei Mateevici" in Cainari, where a divine memorial service is to be celebrated in the memory of the poet and a literary-musical medal.

At the "Alexei Mateevici" Memorial House in Zaim, they will meet with the author of our language students and teachers from over 40 educational and cultural institutions in the country.

On 21 March, the feast will be taken over by the Causeni District Public Library, where a festive session will be held on the International Poetry Day, and on March 22, it will be handed over to Taraclia High School "Stefan cel Mare".

On March 27, an official delegation from Zaim commune will attend the inauguration and sanctification ceremony of priest-poet Alexei Mateevici in Prahova County (Romania).

Respectively, on March 30, at the lyceum "Mesterul Manole" in Salcuta, the actions included in the 3rd edition of the National Conference "Ambassadors of the Romanian Language in School" will be held.

The National Days Alexei Mateevici will culminate on March 31 at the Monastery of "The Holy Mothers Marta şi Maria" from Hagimus (Căuşeni) with a literary-musical tribute dedicated to Alexei Mateevici.
