Damaged roof of the "Stefan cel Mare" Lyceum in Balti to be repaired
The Cabinet of Ministers decided in the meeting today, February 11, to allocate from the reserve fund 3 million lei for the repair of damaged roof of “Stefan cel Mare” Theoretical Lyceum in Bălţi, reads a Government press release .
In July 2018, a part of the ceiling in a classroom on the third floor of the old block of the lyceum collapsed and in February other part of the ceiling in another classroom on the same floor collapsed.
The allocation of financial means comes as a pressing necessity in order to ensure the safety of students and employees of the educational institution, as well as the regular development of the educational process.
At present, 608 pupils study at “Ştefan cel Mare” Lyceum in Bălţi.
