Area around the lake on Albisoara str. to be cleaned

Citizens are urged to participate today in cleaning the area nearby the lake in Albişoara street in Chisinau. The action is organized by the Public Association the Ambitious Youth Community in partnership with several NGOs and companies, IPN reports.

"This area, where many people come to have a rest in spring, is full of waste and pollutes the environment. The event is intended for children, adolescents, grown-ups. It is important to be present and to feel good", said the organizers.

Participants will be provided with waste collection bags and protective gloves. The collected waste will be transported to the sorting and recycling station so as to ensure "reintroduction into the natural circuit in an ecological way".

Those who want to join this initiative are expected at 10.00 am near the lake, the side from the Church "Sfantul Mare Mucenic Ioan cel Nou de la Suceava".
