Park in Chisinau is being cleaned

Several young people who care about the recreational areas in Chisinau, cleaned a park in Botanica sector. The volunteers hope that their example will be followed by many people, Mesager reports.

"I decided to come, because it is important to live in a clean environment and in a clean country." "I want to contribute to protect it and to avoid global warming, the greenhouse effect." "Let's give an example to young people that we do not have to wait for the state to do it all, it's up to us to get involved more." "Each of us depends on the environment we live in, and ultimately we are all responsible to the environment that surrounds us, and we must strive for the better for us and our children", say the young people.

The collected waste will be transported to a recycling company.

"Everything that is recyclable will be collected, even construction waste, so we will try to evacuate them because there are blocks that have recently been built and they did not evacuate their waste but decided to store them over the fence", said Vlada Balica, manager, waste company.

"There are many plastic bottles, packaging, a few blocks are being built now, and people have thrown rubbish here. This location is fine, you can see the city from here and we are sad that this place is full of garbage", said Nadejda Cebotari, organizer.

Over 50 volunteers participated in the cleaning action. People managed to collect one hundred bags with garbage.
