Agricultural activities for people from villages during the emergency period

Residents of villages are more easily overcome by the restrictions imposed by the authorities. This because they can carry out outdoor activities, ie in their own garden, without the risk of contamination. This is also the case of the Seiz family in the municipality of Comrat. All family members spend their day working in the greenhouse, which is for them not only a safe source of vegetables, for the family's needs, but also an additional income to help them overcome this difficult period, reports Moldova 1.

"During quarantine, we decided not to waste time in vain, but to work our land, so we could have something to eat. Don't waste time because even in quarantine you can find something to do. Take care of yourself and stay home,” said Comrat resident Valentina Seiz.

The pensioner Valentina Micotina prefers to spend her free time working in the garden and taking care of flowers.

"I feel very good and I get bored staying home. That is why I go out in the garden to plant some flowers, onions, garlic, I strive to take care of the soil, I planted everything and we already hope that the time will be a good one and we will have a good fruit,” said Valentina Micotina.

In Gagauz Autonomy, there was only one case of illness with COVID-19.
