Nurses from the Phthisiopneumology Institute, an example of altruism

The fear of Koch's bacillus disappeared when they began to work and understand how important the help they provide to patients is. We are talking about the nurses who work at the "Chiril Draganiuc" Institute of Phthisiopneumology in Chisinau. They are convinced that the change starts from each one of us and that only through involvement we can build a better world, reports Moldova 1.

The Phthisiopneumology Institute in the capital is not bypassed by young specialists. In the last two years, the institution has employed six doctors and 11 nurses.

"It is a dynamic service in constant development, an area in which new methods of diagnosis, new methods of treatment are implemented. The staff is provided with personal protective equipment,” said Anna Donică, deputy medical director, Institute of Phthisiopneology.

Tuberculosis is an infectious, dangerous disease that can lead to loss of work capacity, disability and death.
