Republican information campaign

The National Integrity Authority (ANI) and the Congress of Local Authorities of Moldova (CALM) are launching an information campaign entitled "Keep CALM and integrity at the local level". The director of ANI, Rodica Antoci, and the president of CALM, Viorel Furdui, told a press conference that during the campaign informative leaflets will be distributed. Also, several experts will consult local public administration officials, reports Moldova 1.

„In the last two years of activity of the National Integrity Inspectorate, the vast majority in the finding documents were targeted, in the 152 documents, representatives of the local public administration. We intend to agree to support local elected officials, those who are in the service of citizens, in communities that have assumed certain functional responsibilities and to represent the interests of citizens. I want to note that 60 percent of the notifications that reach ANI are from individuals and all these controls were based on these notifications," said the director of ANI.

"Through our contribution, including ANI employees to be able to draw attention to other issues related to the local public administration, which will allow appropriate decisions to be taken in the future," says the president of CALM.
