CC rejects the notification regarding the appointment of Zagorodnii as director of ANSC

Anatolie Zagorodny remains in office. The Constitutional Court (CC) rejected the request of the MP Dumitru Alaiba regarding his suspension from the position of advisor for solving complaints and general director of the National Agency for Solving Complaints (ANSC), as unmotivated, Moldova 1 reports.

According to the magistrates, "although the author of the notification requested the suspension of the Parliament Decision of February 7, 2019, he did not motivate the request and did not argue the need for this measure".

Now, the CC must decide whether the decision is constitutional. The MP of PAS claims that Zagorodny was appointed despite the necessary experience.
