China has provided the Republic of Moldova with another 1,000 tests for COVID-19. The second batch of tests was sent by the Chinese Ambassador to Moldova, Zhang Yinghong, to the Minister of Health, Labor and Social Protection, Viorica Dumbrăveanu, after the first batch of 1,500 test kits was donated last week, reports Moldova 1.
The Chinese official said that his country is taking on the responsibility of a good friend of Moldova and is willing to continue to strengthen cooperation in order to provide assistance to the extent of his ability to fight the epidemic.
According to the official, China is now preparing the third aid package for Moldova, which is mainly composed of protective equipment for medical personnel.
