Better conditions with Hungary's support for a Children's Placement Center

Hope and joy for those sadder than us. The orphanage and abandoned children's home "Mama Margherita" in the capital will be able to accommodate the little ones in conditions to European standards. In this regard, the Hungarian Embassy in the Republic of Moldova has invested ten thousand euros to restore the damaged thermal insulation of the institution. At the same time, air conditioners with purification filters, necessary during a pandemic, were installed in the rooms, Moldova 1 reports.

Renovation work on the thermal envelope began in late June, and in just four months the home for orphaned and abandoned children became more comfortable for the little ones. According to the institution's management, the new equipment for heating the rooms will save more money.

The inauguration ceremony of the works was also attended by the Hungarian Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova, Sandor Szabo.

"We have very good political and friendly relations between our countries, and in February the Hungarian Foreign Minister visited the Republic of Moldova and met with the Bishop of Chisinau, who also told him about this house, and about the repair works required. The minister reacted immediately and even if Hungary is a small country, it will continue to help with concrete actions," said the Hungarian ambassador to Moldova.

In total, the Hungarian Embassy in the Republic of Moldova allocated ten thousand euros for the thermal improvement works at the orphanage and abandoned children's home "Mama Margherita".
