COVID-19: 65 people are in serious health condition
65 people infected with COVID-19 virus are in serious condition. The information was reported this morning by the Minister of Health, Labor and Social Protection, Viorica Dumbrăveanu.
According to Viorica Dumbrăveanu, at the "Toma Ciorbă" Hospital for Infectious Diseases, there are 39 patients in serious health condition. At the Republican Clinical Hospital "Timofei Moşneaga" 12 people are in serious health condition. and at the Institute of Urgent Medicine, six patients are in serious condition.
"We have a problem with Moldovan people who come from abroad. Unfortunately, the latest cases show that people, before boarding the plane or before crossing the border of the Republic of Moldova, they take antipyretic medicines to hide the fact that they have fever. This harms both the person himself, people around them and the medical system”, said the Minister of Health.
We remind that 423 cases of COVID-19 infection are registered in Moldova. 75 cases are imported and other 348 are of local transmission.
