COVID-19 in Moldova: 19 deaths and 968 new cases registered
Another 968 new cases of COVID-19 infection were confirmed today in the Republic of Moldova, four cases being imported. The balance of people infected with the new Coronavirus reached 75,201.
Total tests performed -3,463, of which primary - 3,124 and repeated - 339.
Out of the total number of cases, 50 are medical workers: 15 doctors, 23 nurses, 12 auxiliary staff.
Health status of infected persons: 789 are in serious condition, of which 40 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus, 1,423 are in medium severity, the other patients in satisfactory condition.
Another 695 people were treated and discharged. In total, 55,190 people were treated by COVID-19.
In total, 6,322 people are being treated at home with mild forms of COVID-19, and 24,163 are under surveillance at home.
At the same time, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection informs about the registration of another 19 deaths caused by COVID-19. The total number of dead reached 1,766.
