COVID-19 in Moldova: 260 new cases confirmed
Another 260 new cases of COVID-19 infection were confirmed today in the Republic of Moldova. Of the total number of cases, one is imported from Germany.
Thus, the balance of people infected with the new Coronavirus reached 46,596 in our country.
Total tests performed today - 1,142, of which primary - 979 and repeated - 163.
Out of the total number of cases, 19 are medical workers: eight doctors, ten nurses, one auxiliary staff.
About 600 patients are in serious condition, of which 37 are connected to assisted breathing apparatus, 1,380 are in medium severity, the other patients in satisfactory condition.
Another 400 people were treated and discharged. In total, 34,636 people were treated of COVID-19.
At the same time, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection informs about the registration of two other deaths caused by COVID-19. A 54-year-old woman from the Transnistrian region, as well as a 69-year-old man from Floresti district, also died.
The number of deaths caused by the virus has reached 1,203 in the country.
